Main Points of Class

•    High school counts (e.g., grades matter).
•    Decisions made during these years will help determine the person you are going to be (e.g. the kind of friends you will have, the college you will attend, etc.).
•    High school is an opportunity to prepare for the important tasks of life: fatherhood, professional work, citizenship, friendship.

 

Out-of-class work

•    Read "Advice for Entering Freshmen" handout.
•    Complete Establishing Directions and Goals Worksheet.  (Purpose: help students reflect on their goals for freshman year, high school, and life.)
